As a registered dietitian working specifically with a population that requires a medically prescribed low-carb, high fat diet, I'm always looking for products that can easily (& tastefully) fit into their lives - Kaizen pasta is now one of those products!! This is a really good pasta substitute if you are going low carb. It tastes and has the texture of a near match to pasta. Even my kids ate it. You don't feel carb heavy after eating it. Also, you don't need the normal portion of pasta that you would eat. We have a family of 7 and normally make 1 1/2 lbs of pasta per meal. I would definitely only make 1 lb of this next time because it's so filling - not a bad thing! I will definitely be buying more!

Of all the low carb alternatives this is the closest to taste and texture of real pasta- whole wheat pasta. The new and improved version is a home run. I loved the original but the cholesterol was too high for me to eat it as much as I'd like to eat it. When the company announced the improved formula I compared the macros and saw the cholesterol was zero due to the egg ingredient being removed. I also love how fast it cooks 8 minutes is my perfect time but if you are new to this pasta monitor closely testing firmness as it cooks. Yes it's not cheap but having my favorite food in my life again is a game changer. Also they are extremely friendly on IG so it makes the purchase even easier because I'm supporting a company that listens to feedback, is passionate about their mission and kindness goes a long way in my book! I can't wait for more pasta shapes and for them to be available in more mainstream stores!

This is, hands down, the best high protein/low carb pasta on the market. I've tried them all and this is just amazing in taste and texture and the closest thing to real pasta. I use it at least once a week and everyone in my house (both keto and non keto) love it!!

The closest thing to real pasta I've tried on keto 3+ years! I hope that once the keto community gets the memo that they're able to expand to other textures and slightly lower the price.
