Our pasta is shelf stable and is best enjoyed within 1 year of your purchase, though it can be stored for up to 2 years. Please store pasta cartons in a cool, dry space to best maintain freshness.
True to our name, Kaizen, we will continuously improve which includes doing everything we can to make our product more affordable over time. At this time, there are three factors:
1. Higher quality ingredients are expensive. Our ingredients are naturally more expensive compared to normal starchy ingredients. Our original pasta has 20 grams of high quality plant protein per serving, or 3x the protein of regular pasta.
2. We take zero shortcuts. We only purchase the highest quality ingredients from reputable suppliers who have the highest quality standards. We tried and tested a number of ingredients during our testing, and in many cases chose the more expensive option in order to provide you with the best possible product.
3. Finally, we are a smaller company and do not currently have the scale or resources of big food companies. As we grow and purchase at more scale, we hope to be able to pass along those savings to our consumers.

This is a really good pasta substitute if you are going low carb. It tastes and has the texture of a near match to pasta. Even my kids ate it. You don't feel carb heavy after eating it. Also, you don't need the normal portion of pasta that you would eat. We have a family of 7 and normally make 1 1/2 lbs of pasta per meal. I would definitely only make 1lb of this next time because it's so filling - not a bad thing! I'll definitely be buying more!

Of all the low carb alternatives this is the closest to taste and texture of real pasta-whole wheat pasta. The new and improved version is a home run. I loved the original but the cholesterol was too high for me to eat it as much as I'd like to eat it. When the company announced the improved formula I compared the macros and saw the cholesterol was zero due to the egg ingredient being removed. I also love how fast it cooks 8 minutes is my perfect time but if you are new to this pasta monitor closely testing firmness as it cooks. Yes, it's not cheap but having my favorite food in my life again is a game changer. Also they are extremely friendly on IG so it makes the purchase even easier because I'm supporting a company that listens to feedback, is passionate about their mission and kindness goes a long way in my book! I can't wait for more pasta shapes and for them to be available in more mainstream stores!
